Delete your account and data — Slyce Bills

This page is for users of Slyce Bills (as shown on Google Play). It explains how to request deletion of your account and associated data held by the Slyce Bills service.

Account types in Slyce Bills

Slyce Bills supports creating and signing in to accounts with:

You may also use the app in an anonymous (guest) session that still uses our servers for some features. If you only used the app offline or as a guest without linking to a full account, use Clear all data in the app (where available) or uninstall the app to remove local data on your device; you can still email us if you need help with server‑side data tied to a guest session.

How to request account deletion

Recommended — in the Slyce Bills app (Android)

  1. Open Slyce Bills.
  2. Go to Profile (your account area in the app).
  3. Use Delete account and follow the confirmation steps.

This requests removal of your registered account and associated service data on our backend, subject to the retention section below.

Alternative — by email

If you cannot use the app or deletion fails, email us at slyce.app@outlook.com with the subject line “Delete my Slyce Bills account”.

Please include:

We may ask for reasonable information to verify that the request relates to your account before we delete or disable access.

What we delete or stop using

After a completed deletion for a registered account, we intend to remove or irreversibly anonymize:

Signing in with Google uses Google’s identity service; removing data from Google’s own systems may require you to use Google’s account tools. Deleting your Slyce Bills account removes the link between that identity and data we hold for the app.

What may be kept longer, and why

Like most online services, a small amount of information may remain for a limited time after deletion because of:

Unless a longer period is required by law, we aim to complete deletion of active account data within 30 days of a verified request. Backup cycles may take additional time before all traces age out.

Data that stays only on your device

Some bill data may exist only on your phone until you clear it in the app or uninstall Slyce Bills. Deleting your server account does not erase another person’s copy of a shared bill on their device.
